Position Summary

Foremen is mainly responsible for the direct supervision and coordination of activities of Tradespersons, Labourers, and other workers in order to ensure that all work is completed efficiently and that the sites managed are being delivered on time.

 

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

1            Supervise, coordinate and/or schedule tasks and activities.

2            Determine work requirements and plan procedures.

3            Oversee work progress to ensure all deadlines are met.

4            Interpret and explain technical information.

5            Report on work progress.

6            Liaise with the Project Manager, and manage subcontractors, and other parties.

7            Respond appropriately to work delays, emergencies, and other problems.

8            Comply with legal requirements, health and safety codes and other regulations., ensure safety on site is kept at all times

9            Provide training to new staff.

10          To be flexible from site to site to ensure all the daily needs

11          Knowledgeable on all work, materials and machinery needed for the Job

12          Cleaning of sites at all times .

13          Taking photos of units and work when necessary

14          Making of permissions when needed and assist officials to organize such work

15          Conducting various manual work on site depending on requirements

 

LICENCES/CERTIFICATES REQUIRED – Valid driving licence

TYPE OF WORKING EXPERIENCE – in operations

LANGUAGES- WRITTEN/SPOKEN – strong communication skills in English and Maltese

Full time position – Monday – Friday (Weekends may be required)
