Gasbeton, the system
More insulation than ever!
Without the addition
of thermal coats.

Gasbeton is a complete system for energy-efficient constructions.
The system is based on innovative and sustainable prime materials and processes.
The basic elements are structural aerated concrete blocks, which together with proprietary mortars and accessories become a system suitable for all types of construction.

Gasbeton, an innovative system
Since its inception in 1985, Gasbeton® has been ahead of the curve, offering performance that meets and exceeds the current regulatory standards for thermal and acoustic insulation, mechanical strength, and fire resistance, well before these standards were set. With a history spanning over three decades and a consistent increase in market share, Gasbeton® has earned significant recognition in the construction industry. It has adapted over time, tailoring its products to meet market needs by adjusting the density of its blocks to provide either superior insulation (with lower density) or enhanced strength (with higher density).
Gasbeton® represents a forward-thinking construction philosophy, one that envisions leaving a legacy of buildings for future generations that are not only cost-effective and healthy but also sustainable.
The popularity of autoclaved aerated concrete as a building material stems from its user-friendliness and exceptional insulation properties. Gasbeton® , a variant of this concrete, stands out for its superior thermal insulation capabilities and minimal environmental footprint. Its production aligns with the European Union's energy and environmental directives, offering an ideal solution to contemporary building requirements.
In an era where the market is increasingly conscious of environmental impact, there is a strong demand for materials that minimize energy consumption without overburdening the planet. Gasbeton® meets this demand, providing an eco-friendly building solution that aligns with modern sustainability goals.

A unique system that optimizes construction time and energy efficiency at the same time.
Compared to buildings constructed using traditional techniques, Gasbeton® allows for a reduction in the masonry section as it eliminates the need for external insulation.
Gasbeton® blocks are lightweight yet have a high bearing capacity, making them easy to lift and quick to install. Their dimensional accuracy (+/- 1 mm) and uniform material composition streamline the installation process. This allows for thinner plaster layers and ensures the adhesive bonds fully. Instead of traditional plasters, Gasbeton® masonry can be finished with just a 0.5cm-thick reinforced skim coat. Installation with Gasbeton® blocks is 30% faster compared to conventional methods. The blocks can be easily cut to create sub-measures and special pieces on-site, reducing waste and costs. Additionally, creating channels for plumbing and electrical systems is simplified using cellular concrete groovers and milling machines.

Walls made of Gasbeton® can dramatically reduce energy costs to maintain an optimal indoor temperature in all seasons and climates. The high thermal insulation values make Gasbeton® an excellent material for creating the envelope of low-energy buildings without the need to add additional insulating materials to the masonry
Being at the same time a structural and insulating material due to the combined effect of thermal storage capacity and thermal resistance, it offers excellent summer thermal inertia values and in all seasons allows for a reduction in fluctuations in the temperature inside the rooms.
Gasbeton® is a highly breathable material also, due to its high vapor permeability, it promotes vapor migration by diffusion from heated indoor environments to the outdoors. This property reduces the possibility of surface condensation and mould formation, ensuring a healthy and comfortable environment. Compared with common building materials and synthetic insulation Gasbeton® is up to 10 times more permeable to vapor.
Gasbeton® walls also offer good acoustic insulation values, even with a reduced surface mass, thanks to both the porous structure of the material, which tends to dissipate the incident sound wave, and to the precision of the “thin joint” installation and the use of extremely calibrated blocks that allow for reduced acoustic bridges between the different elements.
Gasbeton® is a non-combustible mineral material classified as Euroclass A1 for its reaction to fire. It does not emit toxic fumes during a fire and provides exceptional fire resistance. A Gasbeton® wall, merely 8cm thick, can attain a fire resistance rating of EI120, and greater thicknesses can achieve up to EI240. These physical properties render it highly appropriate for constructing fire walls.
