Protecting People, Projects & Peace of Mind

Decades of top-down commitment to best practices

In an industry where risks are inherent, we make it our priority to value safety above all else, ensuring that every worksite is as secure as possible and the projects we take on are completed with reliability and integrity.

Our "Work Safe, Home Safe" philosophy underscores our belief that every worker should return home safely to their loved ones. This drives every decision we make, protecting the well-being of our employees and the peace of mind of our clients.

Following decades of top-down commitment to best practice and continuous improvement, we invest heavily in proactive safety measures to prevent issues before they arise and keep risks as low as possible.

Our Health and Safety Policy

ISO Standard

A Benchmark in Safety - ISO 45001:2018 Certification

In a risk-prone industry, we are leading the way in ensuring that every project is executed with the highest safety standards.

In 2023, we became the first local construction company to achieve ISO 45001:2018 certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management. This internationally recognised framework sets a new benchmark for workplace safety in Malta and solidifies our position as industry leaders in Health and Safety.

Meeting the ISO 45001:2018 requires significant financial and managerial investment. Here’s how we maintain it:

Leadership Commitment – Our management team leads by example, investing in the resources necessary to maintain an exceptional safety culture.

Worker Participation – Every member of our team is involved in safety discussions and decision-making, fostering a shared sense of responsibility.

Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment – We proactively assess and mitigate risks before work begins, preventing accidents before they happen.

Emergency Planning & Crisis Management – Being ready for any situation and taking all the necessary precautions determines how we respond to the worst case scenario.

Training & Education – Our workforce receives ongoing training to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest safety protocols and best practices.

Incident Reporting & Investigation – We treat every incident as an opportunity to learn and improve, ensuring that mistakes are not repeated.

Legal & Regulatory Compliance – Compliance with safety regulations minimizes liability and prevents costly legal issues.

Continuous Improvement – Safety is not a one-time achievement but an evolving process. We constantly refine our practices by using a Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) methodology.

Building a Culture of Safety Together

Maintaining a safe and secure worksite is everyone’s shared responsibility. Training is therefore not just about compliance, but about preventing the actual individual from being exposed to risk.

Our training programs cover various safety aspects, such as mandatory legal training, role-specific training and specialised training, both during the onboarding process and on a regular basis.

This comprehensive approach includes manual handling, chemical usage, spill response and fire safety training, as well as first-aid and psychological well-being training, keeping us abreast with the latest safety standards at all times and aware of emerging risks.

Maintaining a holistic approach to Health and Safety, in which everyone contributes to a proactive safety culture, helps to protect us all and prevent accidents in a known risk-prone environment.
