- Ing Chris Calleja B.Mech.Eng. (Hons) Eur. Ing. MBAGeneral Manager Construction and Production
Having graduated from the University of Malta as a Mechanical Engineer in 1991, Chris went on to specialise in Production Engineering. Chris was awarded the Eur Ing by FEANI in 1996 in recognition of the experience obtained within the Engineering field. Chris furthered his studies in Management and obtained Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in 2003. His research focused on Operations Management. Chris has worked locally and abroad for various companies operating within the product development and manufacturing sectors. Chris was responsible for setting up and running a German-owned subsidiary within the medical sector. He joined Attard Bros in 2003 as Production General Manager and was subsequently given responsibility for the Construction unit.
- Matthew MicallefSales Executive on Construction Materials
Matthew was employed by Attard Bros. in 2003 after completion of his secondary studies. Matthew’s work, ethic and commitment led to his being appointed as Head of Department (Concrete Supplies) in 2004. Matthew was recently appointed as Sales Executive on Construction Materials.
- Gordon XuerebHead of Department (Steel)
Gordon joined Attard Bros. in 1998. He initially worked in the block making section. Three years later,Gordon opted to work in the steel yard as a machine operator. In 2005 he was promoted as Assistant Head of Department of the steel section and has been its Head since 2009
- Eugenio GauciHead of Department (Pre-stresed Plant)
Eugenio was employed by Attard Bros in 1982 as a concrete batcher. Three years later, the Group set up a pre-cast production unit and Eugenio was appointed as its Head of Department. Between 1998 and 2003, Eugenio worked on the construction of the Corinthia Bab Africa Hotel in Tripoli Libya as Section Foreman. Following this experience overseas Eugenio returned to manage the prestressed unit.
- Silvio SammutHead of Department (Block Making)
In 1986, Silvio joined Attard Bros. as site foreman. He worked on a number of the Group’s projects including factories such as Rimus Riley, Portanier Bros. and De la Rue. and the Mistra Village Complex. In 1989, Silvio was appointed as Head of Department of the block-making section.
